Generally, the exterior painting season in Massachusetts lasts from March and October, though unseasonably warm weather can extend the season. In autumn, the temperatures are moderate and humidity is low, which is great for painting. It means your paint will dry faster and cure properly. But wait too long, and cold nights and decreasing daylight can extend drying times.
While springtime is mud season in New England, it is still a good time to paint if you weren’t able to complete your project in the fall. Once the mercury consistently stays above 50 degrees, you’ll be in good shape. However, consistency isn’t a strong point of New England weather, especially in the springtime. At Target Painting & Contracting, we’ll try to fit your spring project in when the weather cooperates. By April or May, the weather is generally stable enough to complete an exterior painting project at any time.
Whether you’re able to get on our schedule this fall or line up your project for spring 2023, Target Painting & Contracting can take care of your exterior painting project. We’ll inspect the condition of your siding and trim and make any necessary repairs before giving your home a protective, beautiful new coat of paint.
It’s your last chance to schedule your fall exterior painting project. Get in touch with us to get a free quote.
